St. Simons Island

Last week we went to St. Simons Island to
spend some time on the beach while they took the
floors out of our house!
Actually we were going whether the floors got done or not.
Nana had to go for a Volunteer Seminar for Hospice.
So she invited us to go so we could hang out with her when
she wasn't in meetings and we could spend time on the beach!

It was fun climbing on a whale!
Oh, I love whales!

We had fun playing in the sand too.

There was a park on the beach too!

And if you know us, you know we love parks.

A little friend decided to come over and play with us!

Bringing back water for my sand castle!
Yes, Thursday it was cold so we wore
our coats on the beach most of the time.

I know my bathing suit is hanging out
over my skirt.
But who really cares?
I didn't!

Posing for a picture!

I'm not really sure if I liked the beach
or not!

Picking up Shells!
We brought home a Wal-mart bag full.

Nope, I really didn't like the beach so
I went to sleep!

I loved the beach. I didn't
care if it was cold or not!

I tried to talk mama into letting me get
in the water but this is as far as she let me!

The water wasn't cold to me at all!

I did learn to jump rope while on the beach!

Ready!
It takes lots of practice!

My castle outside our hotel room!

Cheese!
You like my hat?

Silly!
You like my funny face?

I fell in the ocean and got wet.
And I was cold.
Before mama new it I took my
bathing suit off and went running down the beach!

Aunt Kimmy came over on Friday because
she had the day off of work!

I really enjoyed putting sand on Nana
and Aunt Kimmy!
Kaitlann was asleep again in this picture!

We had a great time on the beach!
Thanks Nana for inviting us to go with you!

Family Tradition

Her is our Bunny Cake as promised.
It is a tradition to make a "bunny" cake every
year for Easter. My nana made them when she
was a little girl, my mama and Aunt Kimmy made them,
now it is our turn.

Aunt Kimmy and Nana came to help to make the cake!

I ate more of the icing than I put on the cake!
We went through 2 1/2 containers of icing!

It looks pretty, but not done yet!

I think we need more jelly beans!

What a masterpiece!
I know people will be calling us to make
cakes for them!

I am so glad nana and Aunt Kimmy came to help!

What a work of art!
We had so much fun.
And we are proud that we got to do it
the way we wanted and mama didn't try to
keep it "neat"!

Aunt Kimmy and Nana

Here are a few random pictures of us,
Nana and Aunt Kimmy from Saturday
after the Easter Egg Hunt!

Soon after this picture Aunt Kimmy
put me down for my nap!
I love my Aunt Kimmy very much!
She spoils me rotten!

Here I am Little Mermaid and Nana is the Sea Witch!
She just took my voice away but I got it back!

Aunt Kimmy and I was hiding from the giant.
The giant was mama!

Here we are getting ready to make our
Bunny Cake. (Pictures to Follow)
I told mama that I could put the beaters in myself.
If you notice I am trying to put it in the wrong hole!
I eventually asked for help.

Nana trying to get me with the mixer.
Yes, I do have clothes and yes I do wear them sometimes!
I get dressed, then I get hot and undress myself.
Mama was telling me that all of my pictures I am just running
around in my panties! I really don't know
what the problem with that is!

I love my Aunt Kimmy so much!
She is the best!

Here is Aunt Kimmy playing with our new
dog Chloe!
Yes, we kept her!
We found a home for her but by then us girls
had already gotten too attached to her.
And you know about daddy's and their little girls!
We have him wrapped around our finger!

Egg Hunt

We had our Church Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday!
We had a great time!

Here is the group of kids that came to hunt eggs
minus a few that came in late!

1,2,3 GO!!!
Us kids two and under had our own special
place to hunt eggs!

This is Elizabeth "Liz"!
She is two!

This is sooo much fun!
Good thing that they let us hunt plastic eggs!
All of mine would have been broken!

We got to hunt real eggs!
A few got stepped on! But oh well!

I ate so many boiled eggs!
Last year I didn't like them at all.
But this year I like the white part but
not the "olk" part!

Nana and Aunt Kimmy came to
hunt eggs with us!

We are patiently waiting on our cupcakes!

The were taking too long getting our cupcakes
so I had another egg or three!

Worn out from egg hunting!
This is Peyton. He is 5 months old!

This is Kimble. She is hungry and
she is 8 months old!

We had a great time at the egg hunt and
can't wait to do it again!

Jones' Family Pet Adoption Center

Since living in GA we have became a Pet
Adoption Center! At least someone thinks so.
We have had three kittens dropped off at our house.
One of which we kept, Lola. The other two we
found parents for. Now we have been given
two little Black Lab Mixes.!

This is Chloe.
Mackenzie named her!
She is sweet, playful and very cute!
She is still in need of parents!
We really don't want to call the Humane Society!
So more than likely if no one claims her we
will keep her! Like we need anything else to
take care of! But Jason is getting tenderhearted in
he old age!

This little bundle of joy was adopted
yesterday by Brooke Justice!
I am not sure if she has been giving a name
yet. But she has been giving a wonderful home even
though Brooke's daddy didn't want a dog and
says that he is no longer our friend!
I am sure she will be well taken care of!
And I am also sure that Ricky (Brooke's Daddy)
will grow to love the little pooch and forgive us
as well!! Haha

Easter Pictures

We finally made it to have our Easter Pictures made!
It is tough to get us both smiling at the same time!
Well, with real smiles and not silly, goofy, cheesy smiles!

Deut 6:5-9

You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
"And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
