Yanamarca Valley, Peru

On Wednesday and Thursday daddy
made a 7 hour trip to the Yanamarca Valley.
We are partnershiping with the missionaries there
for the next 4 years. So he thought he would go
check things out!

Here he is standing at 16000ft elevation!
He said he got a little light headed.

There will be more pictures of the Yanamarca Valley
as soon as daddy gets back.

Peru

Early on Tuesday morning daddy and nine
others set out to climb a mountain before they
started working for the day!

Daddy's tennis shoes got stolen at the airport
so he had to climb in his slip on shoes!
I am sure he will need a new pair of those and
tennis shoes when he gets home!

Out of the ten who started the climb only
four made it to the top!

And I guess this is how they went down the
mountain!
It looks fun!
Except for all the ROCKS!

Pictures From Peru

Daddy and Grandmama left on Saturday
for Peru on a missions trip.
They are having a great time.
Daddy has been sending us a few pictures!

A visit from Grandmama

On Thursday Grandmama came down to
visit with us before she left with daddy for
their missions trip to Peru!

We played lots of games while she was here!
Elefun is one of our all time favorites!

We also dressed up and danced!

We love dressing up and dancing too!

Having to take a break from all the fun!

Grandmama also spent a lot of time
ready to us!

Counseling

On Monday morning daddy claimed he
would be out of the office to do some counseling!
How many of you have ever meet a counselor
at a pond?

Well, he came back from counseling
with some one, with 6 large mouth bass!
Something just doesn't add up here!

Mack & Kait's Bakery

This morning we put on our aprons
and got in the kitchen to do some baking!

We made sugar cookies of all shapes,
sizes and color!

We are hard at work!
It takes lots of patience and concentration
to decorate cookies perfect!

We both really love to bake and help
mama in the kitchen!

I couldn't fit my whole hand into
the sprinkle jar!

Shake, Shake, Shake!

UUUUMMMMM!!
What a masterpiece!
That took a lot of shaken!

I couldn't get my hand into
the sprinkles so I had to come up
with another, but better, option!

I am just doing what my baby
sister is doing!

The cookies sure are pretty and that
taste really yummy too!

Gone Fishin'

On Friday morning we got up early to head
out fishing before it got too hot!
We had a blast!

Look, I caught a fish as soon
as my line hit the water!

I got this under control!
Daddy and mama were the ones
having issues keeping my
fishing line all untangled!

Hanging out and relaxing waiting on
a huge fish to come!

We caught several fish.
None that were big enough to keep
but perfect for my fish tank!

Us girls were tired of fishing but
we were waiting on daddy to catch
us at least one more fish for dinner!

I found a goose feather!
I am like my daddy when it
comes to wildlife!
I love it!

Fireworks

On Friday night we ventured out to watch
the fireworks with some of our friends!

We had a "FEW" snacks before the fireworks!

I think Mama and Mr. Michael finally gave up
trying to get all 6 of us to look at the camera at
the same time!

Having a Grand Ol' Time

I was the pre-show!
I performed some dancing, singing and gymnastics!

We had a great 4th of July and
we hope everyone else did as well!

How to Make Up a Bed

I love to clean up!
So this weekend I surprised mama by
making up her bed!

First of all you have to take all the covers
completely off the bed!
Then you pull the sheet on the bed which
ever way you want to!
And you don't tuck in the sheet at
the foot of the bed!

Next you climb on the bed and pull the middle
cover up and straighten it out as good
as you can get it!
You may have to make several
trips on and off the bed to get the cover smooth!

Next you jump back on the bed and pull the
duvet cover up!

Once you pull all the covers up you make sure
it is smooth on top!

The last thing you do is throw the pillows
on the bed!

All Done!
Doesn't it look beautiful!
Now there is no excuse for all my
friends my age not to make up
their beds and their parents
beds every morning!

Gang Territory

It's official we are in Gang Territory!
This week our fence was tagged with
the "Folk" Gang graffiti!

The cops said it was probably 13-14 year
old boys who are trying to show
everyone that the are "men"!
They also said that they aren't targeting
us! It was just a territorial sign to let
other gangs know who's territory it is!

To a mama it is a little scary knowing that
my two sweet girls are outside playing!

Super Wow Fort Walton, Florida

Last week we went to Fort Walton Beach
with our youth to Super Wow!
Basically all we did was cook for them
and go to the beach and pool while they
were in conferences all day!

This was our view from our balcony!!

We headed for the beach or pool by 8:30.

I had a ball and can't wait to go back to the beach!

Our daddy can make some good sand castles!

Aaawww. Isn't this wonderful!

After a couple of days we finally got in the
water past our ankles!

It was awesome playing with mama and
daddy all week!

One of our two pools at the hotel had
this great water slide!

We spent most of our time in the pool.
We were in the water from the time we
woke up in the morning to the time we
went to bed at night!

The other pool had a awesome hot tub!
I stayed in it most of the time because
it was my size and it wasn't cold!
I hate being cold and I get cold so easily!

More time playing in the sand!

We were beach bums!
I think mama fixed her hair
and put on make-up only once while
we were there. And that is when we
went to the fun park!
