Ready for Church

We did manage to get a couple of pictures before
church. We didn't manage to get any pictures
after church all dressed up with Nana, Papa,
Grandmama, Pop or Uncle Edward!

We also didn't get any of just us two together!
After church we were tired and just didn't
want to be bothered with pictures!

Maybe next year!
We were just thankful to get
to spend Easter with our family!
We hope everyone had a wonderful
Resurrection Day!

Easter Weekend with Grandmama and Pop

Grandmama and Pop came to visit us for
Easter weekend. Uncle Edward also came but
some how managed not to get any pictures with him.
Oops, maybe next time!

Showing off my new Barbie that Grandmama
brought me.

Our grass needed cutting!

Does anyone know how to work this thing?

This make 3 years in a row that we have gotten
to color Easter Eggs with Grandmama.
The first year we had Aunt Jennifer' s help.
Last year and this year we have had Pop's help.

Don't I need to check it again, Grandmama?

Cheese!

Grandmama is shaking the glitter onto the eggs!

Thanks, Pop for the help and supervision!

Mackenzie's Sunday School Class

On Sunday in my class we made special treats
down in the kitchen!

We took a marshmallow (Jesus), dipped it in butter
(oil), sprinkled it with cinnamon and sugar (spices),
wrapped it in a crescent roll (tomb), and cooked it!

Here we are hard at work!
Tyson, Mallory, Me and Mrs. Georgia!

What a face!

Once the crescent roll was done cooking we ate it!
And guess what?
The marshmallow (Jesus) was gone!

Mallory, Kaitlann and Me are BFFs!
Kaitlann smelled the food and came and ate with us!

Kaitlann's Sunday School Class

On Sunday morning my Sunday School Class
went outside to take pictures!
All we have is a bunch of pretty girls in my class!
Well we do have Baby Peyton but he was
out of town visiting family!

It was really windy on Easter Sunday morning
so our hair was going every where!
It didn't help that I had taken out my hair bow!

Liz, Me, Taylor and Kimble!

Baby Taylor and Baby Kimble are too Cute!

Easter Sunday Egg Hunt

On Sunday afternoon we had our very own
Easter Egg Hunt!

No eggs yet!
But we are looking!

This kind of looks like an egg?
Nope, just Buddy's golf ball!

Here is an egg!

Another Egg!

Look at our baskets!

See all of our eggs we found!

We found the eggs now it is time to eat them!

We like to peel the eggs, eat the white part
and give the "olks" to Buddy and Chloe!

We had a great Easter with a lot of our family!
Grandmama, Pop, Uncle Edward, Nana, Papa,
Aunt Kimmy and Uncle Brett all came to see us!

Daddy's Wild Turkey

Turkey season began this past weekend!
Daddy has been looking forward to turkey
hunting for months now.
On Saturday he and Uncle Edward went.
They heard a bird but never saw it!
On Monday daddy got up early and instead of
going to work he went turkey hunting!
This bird almost flew right in his lap!

We love it when daddy brings home turkeys and
deer. We think it is pretty cool!
We always have our pictures taken
with daddy and the animal!

Look how pretty!
Actually daddy is the only one that thinks
the ugly things are pretty!
Way to go daddy!
Now we have a turkey to fry!

St. Simons Island

Last week we went to St. Simons Island to
spend some time on the beach while they took the
floors out of our house!
Actually we were going whether the floors got done or not.
Nana had to go for a Volunteer Seminar for Hospice.
So she invited us to go so we could hang out with her when
she wasn't in meetings and we could spend time on the beach!

It was fun climbing on a whale!
Oh, I love whales!

We had fun playing in the sand too.

There was a park on the beach too!

And if you know us, you know we love parks.

A little friend decided to come over and play with us!

Bringing back water for my sand castle!
Yes, Thursday it was cold so we wore
our coats on the beach most of the time.

I know my bathing suit is hanging out
over my skirt.
But who really cares?
I didn't!

Posing for a picture!

I'm not really sure if I liked the beach
or not!

Picking up Shells!
We brought home a Wal-mart bag full.

Nope, I really didn't like the beach so
I went to sleep!

I loved the beach. I didn't
care if it was cold or not!

I tried to talk mama into letting me get
in the water but this is as far as she let me!

The water wasn't cold to me at all!

I did learn to jump rope while on the beach!

Ready!
It takes lots of practice!

My castle outside our hotel room!

Cheese!
You like my hat?

Silly!
You like my funny face?

I fell in the ocean and got wet.
And I was cold.
Before mama new it I took my
bathing suit off and went running down the beach!

Aunt Kimmy came over on Friday because
she had the day off of work!

I really enjoyed putting sand on Nana
and Aunt Kimmy!
Kaitlann was asleep again in this picture!

We had a great time on the beach!
Thanks Nana for inviting us to go with you!

Deut 6:5-9

You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
"And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
