Semi-Official Homeschooler!

By: Mackenzie
My Homeschool curriculum is finally here!
That means Kindergarten begins for me!
I have been so excited awaiting my curriculum!
I really enjoy learning!

In Georgia I do not have to register as a homeschooler
until I am 6 years old/1st grade! So that is why I am
only semi-official!
I know I am only 4 and wouldn't go to Kindergarten
until next year. But both daddy and mama feel I am
ready for Kindergarten material!
So I guess we are off to see how Kindergarten
and homeschool goes for us!

You Might Be A Redneck If........

You have a BB in your Back!

Daddy hurt his back a few weeks ago
and finally decided maybe he should
go have it checked out since it wasn't getting
any better!
And this is one of the things they found!

When Daddy and Uncle Edward were
little boys they were doing a redneck thing
by putting red berries in their BB guns and
shooting each other with them!
Well, Uncle Edward accidentally got a BB
in his gun and didn't realize it and shot daddy
in the back! Daddy and Uncle Edward didn't
want to tell Grandmama because they knew their BB
guns would be history. So they stopped the bleeding
and never told anyone until a few years ago!
The Doctor told daddy that if it were a half inch
up or a half inch to the side it could have paralyzed him!
So this is why you never do anything your parents did!!

Eight WONDERFUL Years

Today, August 12, we have been married eight wonderful years!

I truly married a wonderful man!
He is an awesome husband and a great father!
He is my protector, my encourager, my leader,
my best friend, my companion, my comforter,
my rock, my shoulder to cry on, my prince,
my soul mate, the father of my children
and much, much more!
I knew from the moment I met him
that he loved Jesus more than anything!
And to this day he still does!
I am so thankful that God blessed
me with such a wonderful man!
After eight years and two children later
I can truly say that I love him more today
than I did yesterday and that I will love him
more tomorrow than I loved him today!

Jason, Happy 8th Anniversary!
I Love You So Much!

Fernandina Beach

This past weekend we headed down to Fernandina Beach
with Aunt Kimmy and Nana for a girls get away!

You can't go on a trip with Aunt Kimmy without
making funny faces in the backseat!

Mama's cousin Danica lives in Fernandina so
we met up with her and her husband at
a beach we had never been to before!

Aunt Kimmy brought along her boogie board.
So here I am trying to figure things out!

Me and My Aunt Kimmy!!

Almost had it!

I didn't want to boogie board!
I wanted to surf!

We didn't have many waves which was
nice for some things but not for boogie boarding!

Just checking things out!

I went down to the beach with a fever
and an ear ache!
Mama thought it was an ear infection but
later mama saw that I was getting one
of my back teeth!
Getting new teeth has always done
weird things to me!
I am now feeling much better!

I am Aunt Kimmy's Girl!

The reason Danica took us to the beach that
didn't have many waves is because
they were going to take us sailboating!

It was pretty boring for a 4 year old especially
when there is not much wind!

Me and My Mama!

Mama's Girls!

Floating with Nana and Aunt Kimmy!

Swimming with Aunt Kimmy at our hotel!

Showing Nana some tricks!

Aaaahhhhh!

Got it going on NOW!!

I am ready to go back to the beach
to boogie board!

After my afternoon nap on the beach
I woke up to play in the sand with Aunt Kimmy!

Hanging out with Nana!

Aunt Kimmy finally talked Nana into giving
it a try!
I think she really enjoyed it!

Afternoon Snack Time!

Nana we had a wonderful time at the beach with you!
Thank you so much for taking us!
We can't wait to do it again!

Deut 6:5-9

You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
"And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
