Pumpkin Carving

Every Fall we carve pumpkins!
Daddy and Mama even did it before they
had us wonderful girls!

Here we are trying to decide whether the
cross is straight.
Daddy drew them free-handed!

Before we could cut the cross out we had
to take out the seeds!
That was a yucky, sticky, slimy job!

Kaitlann decided she wanted to get
in on the action as well as Lola!

See my pretty pumpkin.
I only wanted one cross on mine
and Kaitlann wanted three on hers!

Here are the finished products!
We never got around to taking pictures
of the pumpkins in front of the scarecrows!
Now are camera is messed up and we can't.
Hopefully we will get it fixed today!

Deut 6:5-9

You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
"And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
