Candy Apples!!!!

The other night we took a trip to the "huge"
Tifton Fair. We forgot to take the camera. But we
were only there about 30 minutes. Mackenzie got sick
after riding a ride. We thought it was just motion
sickness but later that night she started running a fever.
It was just a 24 hour bug!
But I did get to buy me a Candy Apple!

I think this was the best thing I had ever eaten!
Especially after not having much sugar the
last few weeks because of my bacterial infection!

One BIG Lollipop!

I had to be stripped of my clothes
and put in the tub!
********************************
Well, I am off on Friday morning to have tubes
put in my ears!! Hopefully I want have
anymore ear infections that I can't get rid of!

South Georgia Fun

On Sunday evening we didn't have church
so our youth and college students got together
to play mud volleyball!
I guess that's what people do down here
in South Georgia do to have fun!

And I have to say myself it was pretty fun!

I was playing in the mud when I got tackled
by a volleyball player on accident!

After the game a few of us just decided to sit
in the mud and chat!

I am not sure if they are playing volleyball
or just tackling each other!

Here I am with my friend Dean!
He was a little scared to get dirty at first!

We had a wonderful time with our trucks in the mud!

A quick picture with daddy!

Daddy was trying to get me so he could bury me!
But we wasn't quick enough!

Daddy just hanging out watching the ball!

Here they are before they got good and dirty!

Me and mama managed to stay out of the mud.
My ears were not feeling good so I just set
and played with Granny J.

I also had Mr. Ricky to play with.
Him and Mrs. Jane are two of my most
favorite people at church!

Aunt Kimmy's Wedding Showers

Aunt Kimmy's Wedding Day is getting closer.
25 Days to go.
We have had so much fun at her showers
opening her gifts. She's gotten all kinds
of good things!

I had to get a quick picture with Aunt Kimmy
before the fun began!

Aunt Kimmy doesn't know how to open gifts.
We had to give her a few tips!
She just wasn't fast enough!

Aunt Kimmy was over checking out the food!
She is like us, food is very important to her!

I had to take a break opening gifts to
play with a few toys!

Yep, she's 20 years old, getting married
but still acts like this!
I hope she doesn't make that face on her wedding day!

Going Fishing

On Friday we decided we would have a family
fishing day! It has been beautiful weather
and we thought we needed to get outside.
C-Diff, Ear Infections and All!

Yeah, I traded fishing rods with daddy!
Mama and daddy tried to tell me that
my chair was going to roll into the pond,
but I had to prove them WRONG!

Yep, I wanted daddy's fishing rod too!

Look at this monster fish
I caught!!

I had so much fun fishing.
I am not sure daddy and mama did!

Another monster fish.
It's almost as big as my finger!

Trying to try fall into the pond.
But no one did!

C-Difficile Again!?

Yep, that's right C-Difficile again!
Only this time it is Kaitlann that has it, not Mackenzie!
Some of you may or may not be aware that
she has had diarrhea now for 4 1/2 weeks.
After many test (some having done more than once)
she has finally been diagnosed!
We couldn't believe it was c-diff because
none of her symptoms were like Mackenzie's except
for diarrhea. Actually, that is the only symptom she has had.
Praise God that we have not be in and out of the ER with dehydration!

3% of the population carries the bug without ever knowing it!
It can spread by spores that can live for months on dry surfaces.
It was once mostly confined to elderly, hospitalized patients, but
now a new strain of the bug is attacking healthy, young people
outside of the hospital! The full extent of spread it yet unknown!
In October of 2006 an article was written about this new epidemic
of severe C-Diff that is 20 fold more toxic then the normal strain
of bacteria! The new strain has already invaded at least 19 state:
California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maine, Mass.,
NJ,NY, NC, Ohio, Oregon, PA, TN, Texas, Washington,
and Wisconsin! So everyone beware! Please go to the doctor if
you have any symptoms!Fever, Diarrhea, Abdominal Cramps and
in Mackenzie's case last summer, vomiting!

So, just keep us in your prayer as we treat this and pray that it goes
away in one round of antibiotics unlike it did with Mackenzie!

She also has to go see an ENT doctor. She has been having bad ear infections
that are taking at least two rounds of antibiotics to get rid of!

Dove Hunting with Daddy

On Saturday morning Daddy woke me up
at 6:30 to go Dove Hunting with him!

I had the greatest time!
We killed four dove but one fell into the pond!
The dove really didn't fly a lot!

But I am ready to go back!
See my little Dove?
I was one excited girl!
Daddy thought I might get upset when
we went and picked up the dead dove!
But I grabbed it up ran back to our spot
ready to kill another one!

Daddy said you always had to lay
your birds in a row and take pictures!
I am learning all kinds of things about hunting!

Daddy also said that if you kill it you have to clean it!
So here I am plucking away!

Spaghetti Face

As many of you know
I LOVE to EAT!!!
One of my favorite foods is spaghetti!

Yep, it was just that good!

Hey now you better watch out!
Don't mess with this girl's food!

Anybody up for a kiss??

CHEESE!
Oh, I have to eat lots of cheese with my spaghetti!

Tourism in Tifton

Last week Governor Sunny Perdu hosted a
tourism conference in the big city of Tifton
So we went downtown to see what there was
to tour in Tifton!

So here we are on the tank!

Tifton is building a Train Museum in the
old depot. I think that is a great idea!

I had a great time on the red caboose
with this little boy!
But we still didn't figure out why
tourist may want to come to
Tifton!

Helping Daddy

I love to help out around the house.
Daddy was washing the truck and car
and I thought he could use my help.

I was good help until I started washing
spots that had already been rinsed!
I tried to tell daddy that he had
missed a spot!

I just couldn't get enough soap and bubbles
on my cloth!

If I could just figure out how
to use this nozzle I would be
doing well!

Nana's Visit

A few weekends ago Nana spent the weekend with us.
We had the best time playing with her!
We have been asking mama and daddy when
she was going to come and stay with us again!

Here we are with Nana and Daddy!

Nana and Daddy are trying to get me!

I enjoy catching toads!
I am showing Nana my pet toad
that lives in the pump house!
Daddy and Mackenzie are so funny!

We both enjoyed giving Nana lots of
kisses and hugs!

More hugs for Nana!

We are watching tv and eating grapes
together! Notice the grape in my
cheeks!
This was one of our favorite things to
do while Nana was here.
Although, mama and daddy wouldn't
let her push us that much!

Real Man

Daddy considers himself a "real man" once again.
He is a proud owner of a Toyota Tacoma!!

He has wanted a truck ever since he sold
his 1989 Toyota in 2003.
So we sold the Mini-Van (Hooray) and got a
family truck. It has plenty
of room in the back for our carseats.
It actually has more room in the back seat
than mama's Altima!

Too Tired To Eat!!!!

Tonight at dinner (6:15) I kept telling mama and daddy
that I was too tired to eat. But they thought I was just
making excuses not to eat. ( I have done that before!)
I did manage to eat everything off my plate
except a few pieces of okra and my strawberry
jelly biscuit.

Daddy did manage to get me to bed after
taking the pictures.
Maybe they will believe me next time
I tell them I am "too tired to eat"!

Deut 6:5-9

You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
"And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
